LAKE CHARLES – McNeese softball (17-19) will step out of Southland Conference play and will conclude its four-game home stand with a midweek game against Louisiana Tech (13-14) Wednesday. First pitch is set for 6 p.m. at Joe Miller Field at Cowgirl Diamond.
The Cowgirls enter the game having won seven of their last eight including its second consecutive Southland Conference series sweep following a three-game series sweep over Lamar last weekend. The Cowgirls have won four of the last five meetings against the Techsters with La. Tech winning the last meeting between the two teams, an 8-7 come from behind win in Lake Charles in 2018.

Cori McCrary, and
Alayis Seneca all enter the game hitting above .300. Lopez leads the team with a .333 batting average and is second on the team with 24 hits and seven doubles. McCrary is batting .302 with a team high 32 hits including 10 doubles and six home runs. Seneca is batting .300 with 18 hits.

Jenna Edwards (5-1) leads the pitching staff with a 1.68 ERA. Edwards has won her last four outings including a 7-2 win over Lamar in the opening game of the series.
