LAKE CHARLES – Football, tailgating, full capacity, block parties, Pride of McNeese Marching Band, Cowgirl Kickers, McNeese Cheerleaders, Parapokes, Buccaneers, Touchdown Cannon, Jolie Blonde, cowbells… all the traditions associated with McNeese Football will return this fall.
Season tickets for the 2021 Cowboy football season will go on sale Monday, May 10 at the Jack Doland Field House while current season ticket holders will have until July 1 to renew their seats. Seating in Cowboy Stadium will return to normal.
The Cowboys will host five games in Cowboy Stadium beginning September 4 against West Florida, the reigning Division II national champion.
The first 1,000 fans to renew their season tickets will have the first option to purchase up to two LSU game tickets. The Cowboys will visit Tiger Stadium on Sept. 11.
All home kick-off times will be at 12 noon due to the absence of stadium lighting that was destroyed during Hurricane Laura.
Prices for reserved season tickets will be $125 for all sections. General admission will be $80 and a four-pack in reserve seating will cost $320, a savings of $180. Parking will be re-assigned based on availability as an added bonus to those who renew their seats early. All parking lots will be $100 for the season.
Tailgating is one of the greatest traditions for Cowboy football fans and this year, McNeese will be holding Friday night block parties in the grove which will feature live music, food trucks and talks from football coaches and athletic director Heath Schroyer. Tailgate spots will be on sale for $1,000 for the season.
All tickets can be renewed Monday, May 10 be calling 337-562-4MSU or by stopping by the Jack Doland Field House. Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m.
