"I'm so excited about our first Cowboy Caravan this summer," said Schroyer. "I was looking for a way to take our team to all the Cowboy fans throughout Southwest Louisiana and I can't be more excited to start a yearly tradition with our Cowboy Caravan.
"Southwest Louisiana is special. Our alumni are special. And our fan base – Poke Nation, is special! As long as I'm here, we will always give back and embrace all three. This caravan is one way we will do this.
"It will be a fun, festive environment and a great time. I can't wait for Poke Nation to get a chance to meet and hear from Coach Wilson, Coach Aiken and Coach Kennedy."
McNeese athletics ticket office personnel will be on hand to sell season tickets. The Cowboys play five home games this football season and will open up at home against West Florida on Sept. 4, the defending NCAA Division II national champion and preseason No. 1 team in the nation in the D2 ranks.
