Bailey Tillman has been named the Southland Conference Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.
Tillman helped the Cowgirls to a 2-0 record last week with straight set wins over Nicholls and New Orleans to remain co-leaders in the Southland. Tillman was credited with 37 digs across the two matches for an average of 6.17 per set. She recorded double figure kills in both matches with a match high 21 against Nicholls and 16 against New Orleans. This is her third weekly award of the season.
The honor is Bailey's third of the season as she picked up her first weekly honor on Sept. 5.
