Cowboys to scrimmage under the lights on Friday

LAKE CHARLES – McNeese Football fans will get the chance to see the 2022 Cowboys under the lights on Friday night for the second scrimmage of fall camp.

The event is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. in Cowboy Stadium and is free of charge and open to the public.

In addition, season ticket holders who have yet to pick up their package will be able to do so at the scrimmage.

Head coach Gary Goff said he's going to try to get in 50 plays with the 1s vs. 1s and 50 plays with the 2s vs. 2s in Friday night's scrimmage.

The Cowboys were scheduled to practice in helmets, t-shirts and shorts on Thursday but the session was canceled due to thunderstorms in the area.

SINGLE GAME TICKETS ON SALE MONDAY
Single game tickets for all six of McNeese's home games will go on sale Monday, August 22 at 8 a.m. at the McNeese Ticket Office or online at McNeeseSports.com.

Reserved seats are $30 for all ages. Adult general admission (13 and older) is $20. Kids 12 and under are admitted free for general admission seating with a paid adult. GA for fans 65 and older is $15 while student guest ticket is also $15.

Game tickets to the Sept. 10 game at Rice will go on sale Monday, August 29. Fans will have to purchase those tickets through the Rice Ticket Office as McNeese will not have an allotment to sale at the Jack Doland Field House.
