MOBILE, Ala.—McNeese freshman Salma Elhaimer scored her first career goal here Thursday in a 3-1 loss to Troy at the South Alabama Tournament.
 
McNeese (1-2-0) will conclude tournament play in a 3 p.m. game against South Alabama Sunday.
 
Troy (1-2-0) found the back of the net in the 11^th minute to take a 1-0 lead. The Trojans took advantage of a Cowgirl foul and scored off a penalty kick to increase the lead to in the 34^th minute.
 
Salma's goal came 45 seconds later to put the Cowgirls on the board to avoid the shutout.
 
Troy added a late goal in the 81^st minute from Jordan Stack to extend the lead to 3-1.
