MOBILE, Ala.—After two weather delays due to lightning, McNeese and South Alabama women's soccer teams eventually took the field here Sunday afternoon in the final game of the South Alabama Tournament.
The game was tight for the first 20 minutes and McNeese had several opportunities in the first half but it was South Alabama who got on the scoreboard with back-to-back goals late in the first half for a 2-0 lead. The Jaguars added five more goals in the second half to pick up the 7-0 win and remained undefeated at 3-0-0 on the year.
McNeese (1-3-0) will return home on Wednesday Aug. 31 to host Southern in a 7 p.m. contest
GAME NOTES
• The game started one hour late due to weather delay in the previous game
