WACO, Texas— McNeese volleyball fell 3-0 (23-25, 23-25, 13-25) to Tulsa in the first of two matches for the Cowgirls Friday on the final day of the 2022 City of Lacy Lakeview Tournament hosted by Baylor. McNeese (4-9) will play #14 Baylor (8-2) at 7 p.m. tonight in its final match of the tournament.

Kendall Glueck was the only McNeese player to record double figure kills with 14
• It's Glueck's nineth match with 10 or more kills
• After recording a career high in digs, 17 against Sam Houston on Thursday,
Kendall Osgood set a new career high with 18 digs against Tulsa
• Three Cowgirls recorded double figure digs with
Bailey Tillman leading the way with 19. Osgood had 18 and
Lizzy Low had 11
• Its' the 11
th straight match for Tillman to pick up double figure digs.

Mia Perales led the Cowgirls with 25 assists. Perales has dished out 10 or more assists in all but one match this season.
Set 1
The Hurricane took the early 7-4 lead but a kill by
Kendall Glueck and a Tulsa error tied the set at 15 apiece. McNeese took its first lead (17-16) on another Tulsa error. Back-to-back kills by
Sanni Rantanen and
Mikayla Christiansen put McNeese up 19-17. Tulsa would take advantage of three Cowgirl errors to lead 24-20. McNeese held off set-point with three straight points on a kill by Rantanen and two more by
McKenzie Moore to pull to within one point (24-23). Tulsa would end the set on the next point following a timeout.
Set 2
Tulsa took a 2-0 set lead with the same score as the first set (25-23). After a 2-2 tie, Tulsa outscored McNeese 5-2 to take a 7-2 lead. McNeese went on a run of its own and outscored the Hurricane 5-2 behind three straight kills by
Kendall Osgood to tie the set at nine all. With McNeese trailing 15-13, the Cowgirls scored four straight points to take a 17-15 lead behind kills from Christiansen and Glueck. Trailing 20-17, Tulsa scored five straight points to take a 22-20 lead. McNeese came back to tie the set at 23 but two kills by Tulsa gave them the second set win.
Set 3
McNeese stayed close for the first few points. With the set tied at five apiece, Tulsa outscored the Cowgirls 11-3 to extend the lead to 16-8 before going on to win the set and the match.
