XC hosts Cowboy Stampede Saturday morning

LAKE CHARLES – McNeese cross country returns to action on Saturday when it hosts the 2022 McNeese Cowboy Stampede at the Enos Derbonne Sports Complex.

The event will begin at 8 a.m. with the women's 5k run while the men will follow with a 4-mile race. High school and junior varsity boys' and girls' races will follow the college events.

Teams joining McNeese in the field will be Lamar, Houston Christian, Northwestern State (women), Texas Southern (women), Rice (men), Texas Wesleyan, Wiley, and Lyon.
