FRISCO, Texas – The Southland Conference released its 2024 football league schedule on Thursday and the McNeese Cowboys will play three of their five conference games at home.
The release of the schedule completes the Cowboys' 2024 slate, which features a 12-game stint with five home games.
McNeese will open league play at home on October 12 against Texas A&M-Commerce then will play the next two on the road – Oct. 19 at UIW and Oct. 26 at Nicholls. The Cowboys will return home for a Nov. 2 contest against Southeastern before visiting HCU (Nov. 9) and Northwestern State (Nov. 16).
The Cowboys will close out the regular season at home against Lamar on Nov. 23 in the annual Battle of the Border matchup.
McNeese will kick-off the season on August 31 at home against Southern, followed by a visit to Texas A&M on Sept. 7. On Sept. 14, the Cowboys will play at Tarleton State then return home against Alcorn State on Sept. 21. McNeese will finish off non-conference play on Sept. 28 at Weber State.
