LAKE CHARLES- McNeese women's tennis will host Southern this Saturday in its home opener at the Nancy Hank Tennis Center. First serve is set for 1 p.m.

McNeese (4-0) is off to its best start since 2018 under first year head coach
Gabby Moore following its a 6-1 win over Grambling last weekend in a match that was played in Ruston.

Maria Wang Martinez is undefeated on the season at 7-0 (4-0 singles, 3-0 doubles) while
Natalia Ballo (3-0 singles, 1-0 doubles) enters the match 3-0 on the season.Â
Tiana Fox (3-0) and
Emma-Lou Pommiers (2-0) are also undefeated in single action.

Southern (0-2) will be looking for its first win of the season following losses at Tulane (7-0) and New Orleans (5-2). Â
