LAKE CHARLES – McNeese women's basketball returns home Thursday, Feb. 9 to host second place Southeastern in the first game against the Lady Lions this season. Tipoff is set for 5 p.m. at the Legacy Center.
McNeese (9-13, 6-5 SLC) enters the game tied for fourth place in the league standing following its 75-67 road win at Texas A&M-Commerce last Saturday.
The Cowgirls also enter the game leading the conference in scoring (66.6 ppg.), a 45.7 field goal percent, 15.6 apg., 9.6 spg., and are third in rebounds (36.2 rpg.) in conference games.
Paris Mullens continues to come off the bench to lead the Cowgirls in scoring with 9.8 ppg. while
Divine Tanks leads the team with 5.7 rpg.
Southeastern (13-8, 8-3 SLC) is coming off a 59-51 home win over first place Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. The Lady Lions are the only team to hand TAMU-CC is only conference losses this season.

- McNeese holds a 43-34 series record but have lost the last three meetings to the Lady Lions.
- McNeese's last win over Southeastern was an 80-72 win in Hammond on Jan. 20, 2021. The last Cowgirls win over Southeastern in Lake Charles was a 62-56 win in Jan. 19, 2019.
