Morgan Fiedler's first collegiate multi-goal performance helped the soccer team (3-4-1) to a victory over Jackson State (1-6-0) at JSU Soccer Field Saturday afternoon.

Jackson State scored the first goal of the matchup in the first half in the 33rd minute to take a 1-0 lead.
In the 58th minute of play, freshman
Morgan Fiedler tied up the match at 1-1 before striking once again in the 62nd minute on a penalty kick. The last time a Cowgirl had multiple goals in a game was against Alcorn in the 6-0 victory earlier this season.
The Cowgirls return home to open up conference play against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on September 22 at 7 p.m. The match will be streamed on ESPN+.
