VB: Cowgirls Fall To North Texas

ARLINGTON, Texas—McNeese volleyball couldn't overcome solid blocking by North Texas and an inconsistent serve receive Saturday in its 3-0 (25-20, 25-19, 25-19) to the Eagles on the final day of the Texas-Arlington Invite.

McNeese (2-11) was out blocked 17-8 and picked up nine serve reception errors.  Kayla Wilson and McKenzie Moore were the bright spots for the Cowgirls.  Wilson ended the match with 10 kills and Moore had a .429 hitting percent with six kills on 14 attempts without an error.

North Texas (6-7) was led by Sh'Diamond Holly's match high 12 kills.

McNeese will return home for its next three matches beginning with a Tuesday match against UL-Monroe.
