NEW ORLEANS—McNeese women's tennis team couldn't overcome an early deficit Saturday in its 5-2 loss at Tulane.
Tulane took an early 1-0 lead by winning the doubles point then picked up four of the six singles wins to claim the win.
McNeese's points came from
Anastasija Adeikyte's 7-6 6-4 win over Charlotte Russell at the No. 4 singles and No. 6 singles where
Tiana Fox defeated Jiayum Zhu with a 6-3, 2-6, 10-6 three set win. Both players improve to 3-0 on the season with their wins.
McNeese will remain in New Orleans for a 12 p.m. match at Dillard Sunday
