DENTON, Texas—McNeese women's tennis picked up a 4-2 road win at North Texas Saturday to produce a 2-0 record over the weekend and improved to 5-1 on the year.
The Cowgirls dropped the doubles point to fall behind 1-0 early in the match but stormed back to win four singles matches to claim the win.
Anastasija Adeikyte remained undefeated on the season at 5-0 with her 7-5, 6-1 win at the No. 3 singles.
Also picking up singles wins was
Arina Gamretkaia at No. 1,
Emma-Lou Pommiers at No. 4 and
Maria Wang Martinez at No. 5.
The Cowgirls will return home Saturday, Feb. 3 to host Idaho in a 1 p.m. match.
