VB: Moore Records Double Double In Loss To UIW

LAKE CHARLES--  McNeese volleyball dropped its second four set match of the week, falling 3-1 (20-25, 25-20, 25-18, 25-16) to Incarnate Word Saturday in a Southland Conference match.
 
McNeese falls to 7-13 overall and 3-5 in conference play.  UIW improved to 11-7 overall and 4-4 in the SLC.
 
The Cowgirls opened the match with a .333 hitting percent in the first set with 16 kills, four errors, in 36 attempts to take a 1-0 lead.
 
UIW evened the match with the second set 25-20 win then went on to win the next two sets to pick up the win.
 
 
POST MATCH NOTES
McKenzie Moore picked up a double double, her sixth of the season
• Moore recorded a match high 19 kills along with 12 digs. Moore also had three blocks
Kimaya Webb was the other Cowgirls with double figure kills with 10
Corynne Hausler and Lacie Schooley both dished out double figure assists
• Hausler was credited with 21 assists
• Schooley recorded a career high 20 assists
• Three Cowgirls recorded double figure digs
Bailey Tillman led all players with a match high and her season high with 29
Kendall Osgood picked up 17 digs
Naterah Moore also had three blocks
• UIW ended the match with a .226 hitting percent and 19 blocks
• UIW's Calissa Allison led the Cardinals with 17 kills, a match high 25 assists.
• UIW ended the match with 19 blocks with Kade Thomas picking up a match high six blocks
