LAKE CHARLES – McNeese football coach
Gary Goff announced the signing of 10 mid-year signees in addition to the 19 signed back in December to bring the total amount to 29 new Cowboys to scholarships.
Also on Wednesday, 13 high school players were added and will join the squad in the fall.
The mid-year signees included five FBS transfers and when including the early signees, a total of 11 players from the FBS ranks.
According to Athlinkd on X, formerly Twitter, McNeese is ranked No. 6 among schools in all NCAA divisions in transfer signing class and the top in the FCS with the highest roster improvement.
