LAKE CHARLES-  McNeese women's tennis cruised to a 5-0 home win over Missouri State Monday afternoon to extend its winning streak to 12 matches and improving to 14-1 on the year.  Missouri State falls to 7-5 with the loss.
 
The Cowgirls won all five matches ins straight set including a 6-1 win at the No. 1 singles and 6-4 wins at both the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles to win the double point.
 
McNeese then went on to win four singles matches in straight sets with Arina Gamretkaia improving to 12-0 on the year with a 6-1, 6-4 win over Cristina Flaquer at No. 1 singles.  Aina Domingo Bernabeu (4-5), Emma-Lou Pommiers (12-1), and Tiana Fox (10-1) also picked up wins on the day.
 
McNeese will close out its home schedule by hosting Southeastern (March 23) and Northwestern State (March 25) in Southland Conference matches.
