Nicholls tied the game 1-1 in the bottom half of the inning on a wild pitch. McNeese responded with three runs in the sixth inning beginning with a
Corine Poncho leadoff homerun for a 2-1 lead. The homerun is Poncho's 10
th of the season. McNeese scored two more runs on a two-out single by

Pinch hitter Jada Munoz then hit a fly ball to right field for the second out and Dibbley advanced to third on the throw, but Moreno got caught between first and second as Nicholl's shortstop cutoff the throw from right field and tagged Moreno out to end the game.
Mundine and Dibbley picked up the only Cowgirl hits in the game.
Ryann Schexnayder picked up the loss falling to 4-2 on the season. Schexnayder gave up the lone run, five hits with two strikeouts in 4 1/3 innings. Sanders allowed one hit in 1 2/3 innings of relief.
