BEAUMONT, Texas—McNeese women's tennis remained atop the league standings and extended its winning streak to 16 straight wins with its Southland Conference win over Lamar Saturday.  With the win, the Cowgirls improve to 18-1 overall and 5-0 in the SLC.  Lamar falls to 9-9 overall and 2-2 in the SLC.
 
McNeese won the doubles point to set the tone for the rest of the match in which the Cowgirls won five of the six singles matches.
 
Arina Gamretkaia (13-1), Anastasija Adeikyte (16-0), Emma-Lou Pommiers (15-2), Maria Wang Martinez (8-2), and Tiana Fox (11-2) all picked up singles wins to help the Cowgirls to the win.
