McKenzie Moore and
Bailey Tillman have been named to the Southland Conference Volleyball All-Academic Team, the league announced today. Both were named to the first team.
Student-Athletes must possess at lead a cumulative 3.25 GPA, have completed at least one full semester at the institution, and participated in at least 50 percent of the team's matches.
Moore, an outside hitter from Tomball, Texas posted a 3.32 in Digital and Social Media. The All-SLC first-team pick, led the team and the Southland Conference with 449 kills for an average of 4.58 per set. Moore was second on the team with 58 blocks and 19 aces, third on the team with 267 digs. She ended her career with 1,007 kills.
Tillman, the Cowgirls libero for the past four years posted a 3.87 GPA and is also a Digital and Social Media major. The All-SLC second team pick led the team and ranked third in the Southland Conference with 474 digs for an average of 4.84 per set. Tillman ended her career ranked second in McNeese career digs with 1,841.
