NATCHITOCHES – Coming off a school-record winning win over East Texas A&M that saw McNeese won its 14
th-straight Southland Conference win, McNeese will visit Northwestern State in a battle of two of the only three unbeaten league teams with the victor holding onto its perch above the others.
Tip-off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at NSU's Prather Coliseum. The game will broadcast live on ESPN+ and on the McNeese Radio Network (Power 92.1 FM).
McNeese (9-5, 3-0) defeated East Texas A&M 75-56 on Saturday while NSU (7-6, 3-0) knocked off Nicholls by a 68-66 score.
The Cowboys lead the all-time series 71-69 and have won three straight games and six of the last seven meetings. The two will play again on February 8 in Lake Charles.
