San Antonio, Texas — McNeese Cowgirl Soccer (2-8-3, 1-2-1) came up short on the road Thursday evening, falling 2-0 to the UIW Cardinals (4-3-3, 2-0-2) in Southland Conference play.
The Cardinals struck early in the 11
th minute, when Tyler Coker connected with Sinead Duffy, who slotted home the opener to give UIW the lead. Duffy doubled the advantage in the 32
nd minute, finished off a pass from Joela Livingston to notch her second goal of the night and secure the win for the Cardinals.
