HOUSTON, Texas— McNeese volleyball dropped a tightly contested Southland Conference match Thursday night in straight sets to Houston Christian (25-19, 25-20, 25-21).
McNeese (5-10, 1-2 SLC) was led in kills by senior
Kayla Wilson who was the only Cowgirl to record double figure kills. Wilson ended the match with 10 kills.
HCU evens its overall record to 8-8 overall and remains undefeated in the SLC at 3-0 with the win.
McNeese will continue its Texas road trip when the Cowgirls travel to San Antonio Saturday for a 1 p.m. match at UIW. The Cardinals (7-8, 3-0 SLC) defeated Nicholls this evening. The match will stream on ESPN+.
