LAKE CHARLES—McNeese volleyball put up a good fight against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi here Saturday on Senior Day but the Islanders came away with a 3-1 (25-21, 26-28, 25-12, 25-19) Southland Conference win.
McNeese recognized its five seniors (

Kayla Wilson) prior to the match.
McNeese falls to 6-16 overall and 2-8 in the SLC while Texas A&M-CC improves to 9-13 overall and 5-5 in the SLC.
Freshman
Ava Henry led McNeese with a career high 16 kills and a .412 hitting percent along with three blocks. Wilson added 12 kills for her ninth straight match with double figure kills. Karli Banks recorded her season high with 11 kills.
