McNEESE HOSTS LONG-TIME RIVAL ULL ON FRIDAY NIGHT
• The Battle of I-10 gets renewed on Friday night when McNeese hosts long-time rival ULL at 6 p.m. in Townsley Law Arena.
• McNeese has won two-straight in the series, including last season's 64-56 win in Lafayette for the first win at ULL since December of 2007.
• The Cowboys will look to win their 3rd-straight against the Cajuns for the first time since 1983-85 and for only the fourth time ever.
• Friday's game will be the 101st meeting in the series with ULL holding a 63-37 lead all-time including a 12-8 advantage in the last 20 contests.
• McNeese has won 6 of the last 10 at home against the Cajuns.
• McNeese is 35-1 in its last 36 games played in Townsley Law Arena.

FRESHMAN PHENOM CONTINUES TO MAKE HISTORY
• McNeese freshman transfer
Larry Johnson continues to make history early on in his collegiate career when in Monday's win over Biblical Studies, became the first freshman in school history to score double-figures in his first three collegiate games.
• In addition, he's one of just two freshmen in school history to score 25+ and 30+ in two of the first three, the other being Hall of Famer Joe Dumars.
• In the season opening win against Champion Christian, Johnson became the first Cowboy to score 30 points in making his collegiate debut.
• According to OptaSTATS, Johnson is the only Division I men's or women's, NBA or WNBA player to score 30 points coming off the bench, without playing 20 minutes, without committing a turnover, without committing a foul, and without missing a free throw.

"JOHNSON JAM" IS BORN
• The last four seasons McNeese had the "Shu Slams" for
Christian Shumate's electric dunks, now it's the "Johnson Jam" for
Larry Johnson's athletic slams.
• Johnson threw down three of the Cowboys' eight dunks in the season opener and added six dunks, three alley-opps, against Biblical Studies this past Monday.
• He leads the team with nine total dunks.

LAST TIME OUT: McNeese 132, Biblical Studies 50
• For the second straight home game, McNeese set a new Townsley Law Arena record by scoring 132 points in Monday night's win over Biblical Studies.
• McNeese also set a school record in field goal percentage, hitting 74.3% (52-70), breaking a 41-year-old record of 69.2% that was set against Arkansas State in 1984.
• The Cowboys also tied a school record with seven players scoring in double-figures.

Larry Johnson scored 25 points to lead the way and becoming the first freshman in school history to score double-digits in his first three games.
• The Cowboys held a 49-17 rebounding advantage, and of those 17 by CBS, only 11 were pulled down by a player (6 were team rebounds).
• McNeese 86 points in the paint, 40 points off fast-breaks, and 69 points from the bench.
