James Landreneau has announced the 2026 schedule.
Once again Landreneau has put together a challenging schedule for the four-peat Southland Conference regular season champs that includes three home tournaments, 33 home games and five home Southland Conference series.

McNeese will play teams from nine different conference including the Big XII, BIG10, SEC, CUSA, American and Sun Belt. Four teams on the schedule advanced to the NCAA Tournament in 2025.
The Cowgirls will open their season by hosting Texas Tech, the 2025 World Series Runners-Up on Feb. 5 in the first game of the Twisted Vines Bayou Bash. Tulsa, North Texas, UL-Monroe and Merrimack will make up the tournament field.
Following a doubleheader against Ole Miss that will be played in Lafayette, McNeese will host the Carl Vincent Insurance Invitational (Feb. 13-15) where they will face Austin Peay and UIC.
McNeese will then travel to Southern Miss (Feb. 17) and South Alabama (Feb. 18) before returning home to host the Cajun AC Louisiana Clash (Feb. 20-21), its final regular season tournament with Houston and Missouri making up the tournament field.
The Cowgirls will remain home for midweek games against LSU (Feb. 24) and Iowa (Feb. 26) before traveling to Baylor (Feb. 28-Mar. 1) for a three-game series and a single game at Houston on March. 3.
Other non-conference home games include La. Tech (Apr. 14) and UL-Lafayette (Apr. 21). McNeese will travel to UL-Lafayette on March 24 and LSU on April 28 for its regular season finale.
The Southland Conference schedule will begin at home (March 6-7) when the Cowgirls host Lamar in the Ace Battle of the Border. The Cowgirls will also host Incarnate Word, Southeastern, Houston Christian, and Stephen F. Austin in SLC series. McNeese will travel to Northwestern State, Nicholls, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, and East Texas A&M for conference series.
The Southland Conference Tournament (Bracket Play) is slated for Apr. 30-May 3 and the Championship Series is scheduled for May 7-9.
Season ticket renewals will run Dec. 1- Jan. 9. Single game tickets will go on sale Jan. 15. Fans must come into the Jack Doland Ticket office or call (337-562-4678) to renew tickets.
