LAKE CHARLES- McNeese women's beach volleyball, in its second season of existence will open its 2025 campaign at the Houston Christian Third Coast Classic this weekend with matches set for Saturday and Sunday.

The Cowgirls will open tournament action against preseason No. 15 Texas at 11 a.m. Saturday and will conclude its first day of competition with a 3:30 p.m. match against Sam Houston. 
 
Sunday's schedule has the Cowgirls facing UTEP at 8 a.m. and Central Arkansas at 12:30 p.m.
 
Second year head coach Yasmin Tan has 13 players on her squad that includes one graduate, three seniors, five juniors, three sophomores, and one freshman.
 
The Cowgirls will make their home debut next weekend (Feb. 28-March 1) when they host the Cowgirl Beach Bash at South Beach.
