LAKE CHARLES – McNeese will play the second of three straight home games on Saturday when it hosts Northwestern State a 4 p.m. in the Legacy Center.
The Cowboys (17-6, 11-1 SLC) are back to a three-game lead in the Southland Conference standings following last Monday's thrilling 67-65 win over UIW and a Lamar loss at Southeastern.
Northwestern State will bring a 10-12 overall mark and 7-5 spot in the conference as they're currently tied for fifth place with HCU.
Four teams are tied for second place and chasing the Cowboys – Lamar, Southeastern, Nicholls and A&M-Corpus Christi.
