LAKE CHARLES—McNeese beach volleyball will travel to Nacogdoches, Texas this weekend to take part in SFA Ax'Em Invitational Friday-Saturday.
McNeese (6-4, 1-0 SLC), winners of five of its last seven matches, will begin tournament play against Sam Houston, a team the Cowgirls have defeated twice this season.
First serve is set for 10 a.m. Friday. McNeese will face Stephen F. Austin (5-7, 0-1 SLc) at 2 p.m. Friday in a Southland Conference match.
Saturday's schedule has the Cowgirls facing Texas A&M-Kingsville at 8 a.m. and Mary Hardin-Baylor at 2 p.m.
The No. 2 doubles team of
Kendall Osgood and
Rylee Lansing enter the weekend with a 7-2 record while the No. 3 team of
Jackie McGee and
McKenzie Moore are 7-3 on the season.
