LAKE CHARLES – McNeese track and field will open up its 2025 outdoor season at home with the annual Cowboy Relays Bob Hayes Louisiana Challenge.
Events will get started at 9 a.m. with the men's hammer throw and the women to follow. Running events will start at noon with a rolling schedule and the 4x200-meter relay to start things off.
"We're excited to welcome nearly 400 athletes on Saturday for the Cowboy Relays," said head coach
Brendon Gilroy. "We expect a fun day with some great competition and will be awarded the Bob Hayes Trophy at the conclusion."
McNeese will honor 10 seniors before the start of the 4x400 relays, the final event of the meet.
