NACOGDOCHES, Texas- McNeese women's beach volleyball split its matches Friday on the first day of the SFA Ax'Em Jacks Invitational, picking up a 4-1 win over Sam Houston before dropping a Southland Conference match to SFA by a 5-0 score.
 
McNeese improved to 7-5 with today's split. The win over Sam Houston is the third of the season over the BearKats.
 
The Cowgirls will face Texas A&M-Kingsville at 8 a.m. and Mary Hardin-Baylor at 2 p.m. Saturday on the final day of the invitational
