LAKE CHARLES- McNeese women's tennis fell 5-2 to Tarleton State Tuesday afternoon on Senior Day. 
 
Prior to the match lone senior Ariane Monlleo Sanchis was honored before the Cowgirls took to the court.
 
Tarleton State won the doubles point to lead 1-0 then won four of the six singles matches to claim the win to improve to
 
Salome Fluri (14-2) and Stella Rundova (4-0) picked up the two points for the Cowgirls (13-4) with wins at No. 1 singles and No. 6 singles.  Fluri defeated Emma Persson 7-5, 5-7, 6-3 and Rundova defeated Adeliya Mukhutdinova 6-3, 6-1.
 
McNeese will remain home to host New Mexico State at 2 p.m. Thursday.
