NACOGDOCHES, Texas - McNeese will finish off the regular season on Monday night when it visits Stephen F. Austin in a Southland Conference game that will broadcast live on ESPNU with a chance to make league history.

Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m. at SFA's William R. Johnson Coliseum. In addition to the nationally televised broadcast, the game will air on the McNeese Radio Network on Power 92.1 FM and www.power921lc.com.
McNeese has lost 14-straight at SFA with its last win coming in the 2001-02Â season.

McNeese (24-6, 18-1) is coming off a thrilling 68-66 win at Lamar on Saturday in a game that saw the Cowboys set a new school record for most league wins in a season. Now McNeese will attempt to match the Southland Conference record of 19 league wins in a season which was set by SFA in the 2019-20 season.

SFA (14-16, 7-12) lost to Nicholls on Saturday by a 94-70 score and was officially eliminated from tournament contention.

The Cowboys defeated the Lumberjacks, 79-59, in Lake Charles back on January 20. Five Cowboys scored in double-figures in the game and
Christian Shumate recorded a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Sincere, who scored 25 points against Lamar on Saturday, had 15 versus SFA while
DJ Richards Jr. scored 14 and
Bryant Selebangue and
Javohn Garcia each added 10.

• McNeese is currently on an 8-game winning streak, tied as the 5th-longest in the nation while the conference winning streak, also of 8 games, is the 3rd-longest in the NCAA.
