THIBODAUX—McNeese beach volleyball dropped both its matches on the first day of the 2025 Southland Conference Midseason Tournament.
The Cowgirls opened tournament action with a 4-1 loss to Southeastern then fell 5-0 to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in the Cowgirls final match of the day. 

The No. 2 pair (Rylee Lansing and Kendall Osgood) picked up the lone Cowgirl point with a three set win (9-21, 21-5, 15-13) over Ysabella Lockwood and Maggie Paiva. 

With the win, the duo improves to 10-3 overall and 2-1 in the SLC.

McNeese (8-8, SLC 1-3) will face San Jose State at 11 a.m. and Boise State at 3 p.m. Saturday.  On Sunday, the Cowgirls will take on Houston Christian (11 a.m.) and New Orleans (3 p.m.).
