LAKE CHARLES—One week after the SLC Midseason Tournament in Thibodaux, McNeese beach volleyball will return to Thibodaux Friday to face Spring Hill College and Mobile as part of the one-day Nicholls Bayou Battle.
 
McNeese (9-11) will play Spring Hill College at 3 p.m. and Mobile at 4:15 p.m.
 
The Cowgirls are coming off a 1-5 record at the SLC Midseason Tournament last weekend, ending the tournament on a high note by defeating UNO 4-1 in their final match of the tournament.
 
The match against Spring Hill College (10-10) will be the second of the season.  The Badgers defeated the Cowgirls 4-1 at the Southeastern Lion's Den Invitational earlier this month.
 
Mobile (19-2) which is No. 6 in the recent NAIA Coaches' Poll is coming off a 4-1 loss against Spring Hill College on Tuesday.
 
The Cowgirls No. 2 pair of Kendall Osgood and Rylee Lansing have a team best 12-7 record while the No. 3 pair (Jackie McGee and McKenzie Moore) are 9-6 on the year.
