HOUSTON – Three wins, seven NCAA top 100 marks and 11 personal records broken highlighted McNeese's final day at the Rice Victor Lopez Classic on Saturday.
Marcus Francis won the shot put event for the third straight week and the ninth time in his outdoor career after throwing the second-longest attempt in school history with a mark of 60-0.50. It was also the longest throw of his career.

Kalen Beavers clocked the fourth-fastest 200-meters in school history with a PR time and first place speed of 21.10 which is also the 56
th-fastest in the NCAA this season. His twin brother, Koen, ran a PR time of 21.45 to finish second in the event. Both accounted for half of the 4x100-meter relay team that finished first with a time of 40.22.
