LAKE CHARLES- McNeese women's beach volleyball, off to its best start in program history, will travel to Hammond on Wednesday, March 5 to take part in the Lion's Den Invitational.  The Cowgirls will play Spring Hill College at 1 p.m. and Southeastern at 3 p.m.
 
 
McNeese (6-2, 1-0 SLC) has won its last five matches and is coming off a perfect 4-0 weekend at its own Cowgirl Beach Bash last weekend.
 
The Cowgirls No. 2 pair (Kendall Osgood/Rylee Lansing) are 6-1 on the season while the No. 3 pair (Jackie McGee/McKenzie Moore) are 6-2 on the season.
 
Osgood and Lansing's only loss of the season came against No. 15 Texas in the opening match of the season at the HCU Third Coast Classic.  Since that loss, the pair has gone undefeated.
 
McGee and Moore are also on a winning streak, having won their last five matches including all four matches at the Cowgirl Beach Bash last weekend.
