LAKE CHARLES— McNeese softball, tied for first place in the SLC standings, will travel to Houston, Texas this weekend for a three game Southland Conference series against Houston Christian. A 4 p.m. doubleheader is scheduled for Friday and a single game at 12 p.m. Saturday will conclude the series. Only Saturday's game will be streamed on ESPN+.

McNeese (28-17, 14-4 SLC) will carry a five-game winning streak into the weekend after sweeping Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in a midweek SLC series on Tuesday and Wednesday.Â
