LAKE CHARLES – McNeese Vice President and Director of Athletics Heath Schroyer has announced the signing of Bayou Rum as the "Official Rum of McNeese Athletics" and the newest corporate sponsor for the McNeese Athletic Foundation (MAF).
 
The two-year commitment will include exclusive advertising from the MAF and McNeese Athletics will offer specialty McNeese Cocktails made with Bayou Rum in all premium seating areas for home football games that includes the Champions Club and the Football Press Box Suites.
 
"I'm thrilled to have Bayou Rum join MAF as the Official Rum of McNeese Athletics," said Schroyer. "Angelo and his team have been amazing to work with and I couldn't be happier to have them join our team.
 
"Bayou Rum is a staple in Southwest Louisiana and throughout our state. This partnership will enhance the game day experience for fans and it invests in the local ties that define McNeese Athletics!"
 
Bayou Rum will be the presenting sponsor of the West Tailgate Zone for McNeese Football titled "The Bayou Rum Tailgate Zone." Bayou Rum will have a presence throughout all MAF events and will be the sponsor of "Spirit Fridays" during the spring semester.
