TALLAHASSEE, Fla.—McNeese volleyball couldn't overcome its offensive struggles Friday in a straight set 3-0 (25-12, 34-32, 25-12) loss to Georgia State at the Florida A&M Invitational, dropping the Cowgirls to 3-5 on the season. Georgia State improves to 6-1 with the win.
McNeese struggled to hit over .100 in the first and third sets while hitting .143 in the second set where the Cowgirls fell 34-32.
D'Nari Mills and
Jordan Gamble led the Cowgirls with six kills apiece. Game also led the team with a .267 hitting percent.
McNeese returns home next Tuesday, Sept. 16 to host Southern. First serve is set for 6:30 p.m.
