LAKE CHARLES—Senior
Kayla Wilson led all players with a match and season high 16 kills in a 3-1 (25-22, 15-25, 25-16, 25-21) McNeese volleyball win over Southern Tuesday night. Wilson also ended her best offensive match of the season with a .452 hitting percent, committing only two errors in 31 attempts.
Wilson was joined in double figure kills by freshman
Ava Henry who ended the match with 12 kills and a .364 hitting percent.
Setters King Ziolkowska and
Corynne Hausler were credited with 24 and 22 assists, respectively while
D'Nari Mills and
Lauren Fuller picked up 17 digs apiece.
McNeese (4-5) will travel to Houston, Texas this weekend to take part in the Houston Cougar Challenge, the Cowgirls final regular season tournament.
