SINGLES RESULTS                DOUBLES RESULTS

LAKE CHARLES—McNeese tennis opened its fall season with a good showing over the weekend at its own Cowgirl Invite. 
 
"What an awesome way to kick off our fall season at the Cowgirl Invite," said head coach Sonia Carlson.  "I'm so proud of how our Cowgirls competed and set the tone for what's ahead. A huge thank you to everyone who came out, it felt amazing to play at home in the fall with such great support.  This is just the beginning, and we're fired up for a quick turnaround in Lafayette next Friday."
 
Ana Hollweg and Alexa Martinez dominated in singles action with 3-0 records while Leana Gomez finished with a 2-1 record.
 
In doubles, the teams of Salome Fluri/Erica Hagi and Martinez/Gomez both ended the weekend with 2-1 records.  
 
McNeese will travel to the Ragin' Cajuns Hidden Duals this weekend (Sept. 19-20).
