LAFAYETTE—McNeese women's tennis had another positive performance at the UL-Lafayette Ragin' Cajun Hidden Duals over the weekend with a singles and doubles win over Louisiana Tech and singles win over UL-Lafayette.

Individually, Salome Fluri and Alexa Martinez posted perfect 3-0 singles records.  Leana Gomez and Ana Hollweg finished the weekend with 2-1 singles records.

"I'm really proud of how our team competed this weekend in Lafayette," said head coach Sonia Carlson. "Competing in back-to-back hidden dual tournaments is no easy task, but our team rose to the challenge and showed incredible fight. Salome and Alexa were unstoppable, both going 3-0, and Leana and Ana kept their strong start to the fall rolling with another solid 2-1 weekend. I love the energy and grit this group is bringing—we're building something special!"
 
The Cowgirls' next tournament will be the ITA Southern Regional Championships (Oct. 13-17) in Auburn, Alabama with Auburn serving as the host.
