Stephenville, Texas – McNeese Cowgirl Soccer (1-5-2) suffer their second straight shutout loss on the road Sunday afternoon, falling 4-0 to Tarleton State (5-2-1) at the Tarleton State Soccer Complex.
The Texans struck early, scoring twice in the opening five minutes. Avery Harr netted the first goal in the 4
th minute off a setup from Sammy Schulze, followed quickly by a Reegan Wagg goal assisted by Stevie Reynolds less than a minute later putting the Texans up 2-0 going into halftime.
Tarleton State extended their lead in the second half, with Kaitlyn Flanagan scoring in the 62
nd minute on an assist from Jaycie Bass. Gabrielle Williams sealed the 4-0 win with a goal in the 86
th minute.
