Cowgirls Fall 4-0 to suffer their Second Straight Shutout Loss

Stephenville, Texas – McNeese Cowgirl Soccer (1-5-2) suffer their second straight shutout loss on the road Sunday afternoon, falling 4-0 to Tarleton State (5-2-1) at the Tarleton State Soccer Complex.

The Texans struck early, scoring twice in the opening five minutes. Avery Harr netted the first goal in the 4th minute off a setup from Sammy Schulze, followed quickly by a Reegan Wagg goal assisted by Stevie Reynolds less than a minute later putting the Texans up 2-0 going into halftime.

Tarleton State extended their lead in the second half, with Kaitlyn Flanagan scoring in the 62nd minute on an assist from Jaycie Bass. Gabrielle Williams sealed the 4-0 win with a goal in the 86th minute.
