LAKE CHARLES—McNeese third year head beach volleyball coach Yasmin Tan has announced the Cowgirls 2026 playing schedule which is slated to begin Feb. 20-21.
 
McNeese will compete in seven regular season tournaments including the Cowgirl Beach Bash (2/27-2/28), Sandy Poke Invitational (3/28), McNeese Beach Classic (4/14) for their home matches this season. The Cowgirls play all their home matches at South Beach.
 
The Cowgirl Beach Bash field will consist of Texas A&M-Kingsville, Sam Houston, New Orleans, Nicholls, Stephen F. Austin and Mary Hardin-Baylor and the Sandy Poke Invitational field will consist of Southeastern and Tarleton State coming to town. The McNeese Beach Classic field will consist of Wayland Baptist, Mary Hardin-Baylor, and East Texas Baptist. The Cowgirls will open their season at the Javelina Beach Showdown against UTEP and UL-Monroe.

Week three will have the Cowgirls taking part in the Big Easy Beach Invitational hosted by New Orleans, followed by the Bayou Beach Duals hosted by Tulane in Week 4. 

The Southland Conference Mid-Season Tournament will be held in Youngsville at Sugar Beach March 21-22 and being hosted by Southeastern. 
In week 7 the Sandy Pokes with travel to Stephen F. Austin and during week 9, the Sandy Pokes are set to travel to Nicholls for a midweek matchup against the Colonels.

The Southland Conference Championship is scheduled for April 22-24 in Corpus Christi, Texas and will be hosted by Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
