KINGSVILLE,TEXAS – McNeese Women's Beach Volleyball will open its 2026 campaign at the Javelina Beach Showdown this weekend with matches scheduled for Friday and Saturday.
The Cowgirls will open tournament action against Sam Houston at 8 am on Friday, before concluding the day with a match against host, Texas A&M-Kingsville at 12 pm.
Saturday's schedule has the Cowgirls squaring off with UTEP at 8 am and concluding play in Kingsville against UL-Monroe at 12 pm.
Third year head coach
Yasmin Tan has 15 players on her squad that includes nine returners from last years' squad that posted the best record thus far in program history with a 13-19 overall record while going 2-6 in conference play.
The Cowgirls will make their home debut next weekend (Feb.27-28) when they host the Cowgirl Beach Bash at South Beach.
