NEW ORLEANS – McNeese Women's Beach will travel to New Orleans this weekend to participate in the Bayou Beach Duals beginning Friday at 11 a.m.
McNeese (9-2, 0-1) is coming off a weekend at the Big Easy Beach Invitational where weather played a factor all weekend canceling one match and having to shift the schedule. The Sandy Pokes earned their first program win over the College of Charleston before dropping their first Southland Conference match to Southeastern and wrapping up the weekend with the win over New Orleans.
Friday's schedule will consist of the Sandy Pokes playing Nicholls at 11 a.m. which will be the second Southland match of the season. The Sandy Pokes will wrap up day one in New Orleans at 1:30 p.m. as they take on Central Arkansas.
Saturday the Sandy Pokes will wrap up the Bayou Beach Duals with a match against host, Tulane at 8:30 a.m. and closing it out with a match against UTEP at 1:30 p.m.
