NEW ORLEANS – McNeese Women's Beach will travel to New Orleans this weekend to participate in the Big Easy Beach Invitational beginning Friday at 9 a.m.
McNeese (7-1) is coming off a weekend sweep at the Cowgirl Beach Bash going 4-0 against Texas A&M – Kingsville, Sam Houston, Mary Hardin-Baylor, and New Orleans.
Friday's schedule will consist of the Sandy Pokes playing College of Charleston at 9 a.m. which will mark the first meeting between the two programs. The Sandy Pokes will wrap up day one in New Orleans with their first Southland Conference match against the Southeastern Lion at 3 p.m.
Saturday the Sandy Pokes will wrap up the Big Easy Beach Invitational with two match ups against the host, New Orleans, at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
